Poker Gives was founded by poker industry professionals Mike Sexton, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, and Lisa Tenner as a way for poker players and the poker industry to give back to worthwhile charity organizations. The mission of Poker Gives is to raise funds through poker events like Shuffle Up for Poker Gives and private donations and distribute them to mainstream charities on behalf of the poker world.

Emerging Artists and Technology in Music (EAT’M) was created by Lisa Tenner to serve the needs of unsigned talent from all genres of music, bringing them to the attention of music industry professionals that included label presidents, music publishers, agents, managers at all affiliate related music organizers.
EAT’M has launched dozens of singers, songwriters and bands into recording contracts, performance schedules and publishing including Michelle branch, The Wreckers, Papa Roach, Slipknot, along with a dozen other artists, Keynote speakers included: Sir George Martin, the late Ahmet Ertgun, and dozens of other high-profile industry icons. Tenner and Associates is proud that a nonprofit foundation (a501c3) The Emerging Artist Fund, created as part of EAT’M continues to offer assistance to emerging artists.

Queens of Hearts
Lisa Tenner is co-founder of The Queens of Heart, an organization created to draw attention to women’s health issues and raise money for charity. A unique team of women made up of celebrity players and poker professionals is assembled each year to compete under one banner at the World Series of Poker. The organization has raised over $100,000 for charities such as the Nevada Cancer Institute and the American Heart Association over the years.
Team members have included celebrity stars such as actresses Mimi Rogers, Jennifer Tilly, Joely Fisher, Teri Hatcher, Cheryl Hines, Camryn Manheim, and author Jackie Collins. Professional poker players include: Hall of Famer Linda Johnson, Barbara Enright, Clonie Gowen, Pamela Brunson and others.
The WSOP has assumed operation of the league. Tenner stated in a press release. “I am honored about the incredible success, charity, and awareness for good health that Tenner and Associates brought to the World Series of Poker on behalf of ‘Queens of Heart’ and the move to having the league led by the WSOP is a win-win for all concerned. I am also proud that the ‘Queens of Heart’ is a part of the history, tradition, and the future of the WSOP.”
Celebrity Poker Tournament for Sunflower Children. Super model Helena Houdova and socialite Roberta Armani hosted the second annual Sunflower Children Poker fundraiser at Gotham Hall in New York City. Co-host Russell Simmons joined Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps, Poker Pro Lee Childs, model Lane Carlson, actors Michael Kelly "Changeling,” Ben Bailey "Cash Cab," Ana Ortiz "Ugly Betty," Malinda Williams "First Sunday," and David Zayas "Drexler" to help raise funds for at –risk children around the world. 100% of all public donations went directly to benefit Sunflower Children.
